I was the fan almost squished into the wall by Jason. I was so startled, I actually yelled, "Jason!" He said he was sorry and kept on going. Security followed, going after her charge. I, of course, followed to see what Jason was in a hurry to get to.
Jason was running down the photo op hall to get to the ballroom lobby. Mac and his wife were sitting in a corner. Mac had his back to the lobby and was playing his guitar. Jason talks to him a bit, turns around and goes back the way he came, I presume to the green room across from the photo op room. Then he returns to the lobby with a guitar where he and Mac share some quality guitar time. Security didn't allow photos of this personal time, but they did take a photo of the 2 of them playing guitar, which I heard later that Mac got a copy.
I didn't have autograph tickets but I stood in line at the end of the con with some friends just so I could thank Jason for giving me a con story.
I was wearing my Jumpy Z tshirt, designed by Spubba. When I went to say goodbye to David Nykl, I pointed out the shirt and he was happy to see it. He asked about Spubba and I said that I lost touch with her but I'd put feelers out to let her know that David says "Hi!" I emailed her on her lj but haven't heard back. Spubba designed the Jumpy Z chibi on my shirt and that David uses on his website on his Stargate Atlantis page.
Great con reports! Thanks for all the hard work on it. I was going to do one but you've done it so well, I don't have to. I find writing those things painful, even though the few that I've done let me remember the con after they fade into a pleasant blur.
