Well, she didn't say that she and Hewlett have a better work ethic, just that she and Hewlett have a tendency to gravitate to each other on set, because they both have the same work ethic. It's in the TV Guide interview (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tvguide/390610_tvgif4.html), about halfway down.
I have no idea what she meant by that. I had a Huh? moment as well.
