Two other lessons you can add: 1) Someone will inevitably say - "Hey if we split up, we can cover more ground," forgetting that there is safety in numbers. 2) Nobody bothers to check to see if the flashlight they grabbed is working before heading into the dark cave/ spooky building. Of course the batteries are dead or dying...
