This is your cellphone on cold wash/rinse cycle, with bleach.... Well, it's actually mine, but let this be a warning to everyone! ;)

Now, the little thing no longer vibrates, but the picture comes up like this here and now. Also, if I leave the battery in, and leave it on for hours, I'm sure it'll catch fire or explode as it was getting warm (ooh, a MacGyver handwarmer!) It can provide some amusement when I'm totally bored and I figure out how to dispose of it properly.

Anyway, is the photo not neat? I mean, it looks like a nice cloud pattern. Oh wait, like that Outer Limits episode with the dust creature that lived in the vacuum cleaner!!

wetting it would have been ok, but the bleach probably did it in! on the other hand, it is wonderfully sterile now!

The photo is neat. The streaks are very strange but pretty colors!

That is why my cell phone lives in my purse and not in my pants.

I think I should rephrase that, but I don't know how...

i actually read something on the web one day about how to recover a cell phone that had gotten wet. i think people were talking about accidentally dropping it into the sink. but to go through the entire wash, hmmm, no way to recover.

BTW- i have a few mottos. one is that no matter what i can afford, i dont want to buy a home that has more toilets than i want to clean. another is i dont want a cellphone that is so small that i can accidentally put it through the wash. blue tooth will never work for me.

did you use fabric softener? just wondering.........

Actually, I got blood on my cellphone and it did the same thing. Richard rinsed it with distilled water and dried it out thoroughly (battery out) but it never improved. I could still use it to send and receive calls, though, so it still worked as a phone, if nothing else. No texting, though. It didn't blow up or catch fire, and in fact worked until I replaced it, almost 7 months later...
