The trailer left me very meh. I'll be honest, I wasn't planning on watching it anyway, and the trailer isn't making me change my mind. Again, we have a team/expedition that is in trouble the moment they get through the gate. Like you said...been there done that. Their mission is to survive? Um, again rinse and repeat.
Like I said on GW, I guess the lightbulbs are the first to go when there are budget cutbacks. I think quite a few fans are thinking that this will be the "darker, edgier" Stargate, but you know? That's not what Stargate is about and never was. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
