The Cloverfield camera work is an apt description, and I already disliked it in the movie : steadycam are heaven, use them !
Otherwise it also left me very "bleh", and not really anymore interested than I was, I know the thing was short, but for SGA Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett managed to catch my eyes in about 3 seconds.
