That's just CRAZY!!! Starting bid of $500? I really like Joe but I just couldn't pay that much for some "lubrication" and snacks! I suspect the bids will be in the thousands in no time.
I really wanted to go to this Con b/c it's the closest in terms of where I live (Alberta.) But couldn't justify the cost and I have final exams to prepare for. Now...if this Con were to happen after I get my degree, got a well paying full time job...no, I still wouldn't shell out the cash (too many other things to pay for.) People need to stop paying these prices so organizers will rethink the price point, sadly that will never happen as long as there is demand.
Can I also ask for a Con report and some pics from the lucky people going? Pretty please? Thanks! I'll bake you cookies! :)
