Nicely put rant! :) And I'm so with you on the casts changing. I hate what they do on Paul and to replace him with Jewel is low. :(
I love Sam, woulnd't mind if her part is like in McKay & Mrs Miller, but to be full time in Atlantis plus all this casts change ? UGH! I have watched Return pt 2, and the end-scene where Weir hugged Jack, and Jack said to take Carter next time, I just hope that's not mean Carter would replace Weir.
With the cancellation of SG-1, I'm pretty sure the rating for SGA would be down next season, since some SG-1 fans don't really follow SGA, but this cast changing would make the rating even lower.
