The "flipping the coin" comment made by Brad Wright came from an interview he did with somebody who has a sort of comedic talk show. He was being interviewed in his office, and was asked a question about how he made decisions on what to use in an episode, and he jokingly said he flipped a coin. It must have been picked up and used by other people after they saw the interview and thought it was clever.
