My tweets have flown the coop!

Well, 600 or so of them are now toast. Apparently Twitter only backups 3,200 of the most recent, so whatever I said when I first joined, um, er, don't know. Darn, all my pearls of wisdom have gone bye-bye :( But, checked out http://backupmy.net/ and backed up those 3,200, which only put me back to April of this year. I'm sure I've been tweeting since, um, er, last year. Anyway, before using it, checked it out at http://butyoureagirl.com/2009/07/23/is-backupmytweets-com-safe-to-backup-you-tweets/, which even has a video on how to use the application. So, if you tweet a lot, or want backup (I chose an  HTML version) so you can go back and say, oh yeah, I did say that, it's helpful.

well, I tend to post stargate news and science news and weird news, and what my cat has thrown up or what the does has done or how hot it is. nothing earth-shattering but so addictive, plus folloiwng people I ask them questions, reply back, give answers to people. man, I wish I could make a living off of tweeting!

I have my tweets posted to my LJ and then back it up with Dreamwidth from time to time. It's not that hard and seems to be working pretty good. :-)

Its good to know it works I'm going to wait a bit since I'm still under the cut (1606 last check)so I have some time before I have to worry about Twitter deleting my tweets.

But now I know what to do when I get closer to 3,000.
