Hey, I was at that celebrity hockey game too! What are the odds of us finding each other on LJ? I was disappointed that RDA didn't skate because of his then recent knee surgery. I only remember Chris Potter and Jason Hervey from the Wonder Years at the game. I had awful seats and everyone was teeny tiny to me.
A bunch of Robert Duncan McNeill (ST:Voy) fans had a get together with Robbie at Toronto Trek one year. There was a charity auction with a lot of KFTLC stuff that the show donated after it shut down. I won a vest that supposedly was David Carradine's. I saw him at a NJ Chiller convention and tried to have him vouch for it. He didn't know for sure, but he said he might have worn it. It's just a generic vest, so it's hard to tell.
I found Carradine to be rather odd. Kinda spacey. I can't remember anything specific now except the second time I saw him, he was reading a magazine. I know he saw me so I thought I'd let him finish the paragraph. Instead, he kept me waiting and finished the article. I supposed I should have gotten his attention more overtly, but he was kind of intimidating and I think he was testing me to see what I would do. And I thought I'd see what he'd do, so it was mind games all around. 8^D

I'd love to meet Chris Potter in person some day.
