I had you on my flist all this while b/c of a shared love for SGA, David, Joe and GateWorld (I'm lostinspace there). I also worked in NYC for years, and was delighted to find someone in the "area" - right? Or am I making this up? Your reflections on TomKat and the Rosie v. Trump stand off cracked me up b/c I totally agree - enough already! I too, found Autumn by kodiak_bear to be one of the best out there, whump et al. If you're into memes, the 40 Questions on 2006 is a good one I've just taken.
As for Best TV, I'm curious if you knew that Chris Eccleston will be joining the cast of Heroes (the new NBC TV series this fall)? I started watching it about 1.5 months ago and am utterly hooked. Evidently, Chris has a fantastic role, playing an "older" hero-mentor called Claude and will be introduced in the next ep on Jan 22.
