Jason Momoa on TMZ

I flicked off the news, hit the Fox channel and went Whoa! Jason Momoa! Yes, TMZ, the tabloid show, caught him somewhere to ask him about Conan the Barbarian. He appeared about 7-8 minutes in, I think, and I'll see if I can catch it later (means, gasp, watching Spartacus one hour later). He's looking good. One of the *cough* reporter types called him "ridiculously hot." And he is looking quite good!

Good for Jason!!! His star is going to rise so high with that movie and the HBO thing. Joe was right, our Jason's going to be a big movie star.

Jason as Conan

Here's an article from the UK's Guardian. The reporter doesn't seem to like Jason or the people behind the production. His complaint about Jason - he "looks a mite too pretty."

What caught my eye in the article is that "Conan" is shooting in Bulgaria. David Hewlett and Jason might be able to meet up if they overlap their time in Bulgaria and have a moment's break in their respective productions.

Photo trivia: the beach shot of Jason with dreds is from the series "North Shore" not "Baywatch Hawaii". The last time I saw Jason at a convention autograph table, I said I had a "Baywatch" photo for him to sign. He responded that he didn't sign "Baywatch" photos. I said I was disappointed that he didn't because he looked really good as I pulled out the photo of a barechested, dredded Jason at the beach. He said that photo was from "North Shore" and he'd be happy to sign it. I didn't ask why he didn't want to sign "Baywatch Hawaii" photos, I was just happy my photo wasn't from that show and he signed it.
