Well, most ponies were saved - and tranfered to fields on the other side of the mountain, so the wind did not bring the ashes to them. But some died eventually. Those picvs were so...heartbreaking. Those herd was one of the "wild" running onces from the National Park...
And a lot of people lost their existence on this tinny island. I was there once for holiday (riding and hinking).
