And now Gateworld has made the "14 episodes and a ship" for Carter official. God... This just depresses me sooo much. I may not LOVE Weir, and I do like Carter in her own show, but reducing Higginson just to bring in another hardass military guy and Carter for Rodney to drool over just irks me so much. I mean, maybe it's my rampant ship-ness coming into play here, but I honestly believe it's just not fair that SG-1 had ten freakin' years while Atlantis has only had three and now they feel the need to completely revamp the show to "shake things up." Sometimes keeping things the same is nice! I mean, we finally have gotten some great interaction within the team and background info too and then they feel the need to remove central characters and add new ones. Uggh...
