No, it's never an actor's fault if they take a role. She signed a contract, they exercised her option. Simple as that. However, the producers just don't seem to realize that Atlantis fans want Atlantis to be Atlantis, not a dumping ground for SG1 characters. I mean, they're all going to the movies, after all....
So far I've missed wanking on AT herself, have seen it on Carter here and there, but mostly on TPTB for making this decision. Most reasonable fans know it's out of her hands.
