Am I the only person desperate to believe who thinks Carson ascended? Everyone keeps calling it a dream sequence.
I had massive flashbacks to "Meridian" and "Abyss" and "Changeling". It would also explain how the writers keep hinting that they may be digging themselves out of this blasted hole.
