I am so hopeful for this endeavor.........as the need is tremendous. ALS is so devastating not only to the individual who suffers from it, but for the family and friends who watch it and feel utterly helpless to do anything. We watched our mother struggle with Parkinsons. She finally succumbed to some of the same horrific things that happen to ALS patients.
