I dare say that compared to the Bond franchise, Stargate is considered small fry, at least by the press/PR folk.
It's probably smally-fry to the press, but several years ago I read that Stargate's DVD sales at that time were the second largest holding in MGM's bag, second only to James Bond. I remeber being very surprised at the time.
Somehow, with SGU, I think that's no longer true. ;-)
