Thanks for the lovely detailed description of your day at NYCC. I'm glad you got to see most of people you wanted to, I consider that a great day! From your description, it sounds like the combination of NYCC and NYAF together made for the same kind of too-crowded-to-move insanity that is SDCC.
You're right about the commute, I did two out of three days the last time and it really wiped me out. I'm sorry I couldn't go this year, had my badge and everything, but a project came up mid-September which sent me back to the West Coast.
