Heh, while you've come to despise snow, I've come to despise the lack of snow. It's the only thing I like about winter, but as soon as we get some it's gone the next day. But, really, I can't complain because I'm more than happy to give up the snow for spring. Warmth!
Dang it I wished you lived where I was. I've been fostering a hefty sweet-heart of a cat (not fat, just a bit big) who's having some trouble getting adopted. She's very cuddly and a major lap-cat, but she's also incredibly shy around strangers and needs a home that's quiet and with no other pets. We'd adopt her but she and my other cats really don't get along (her and Roxy keep trying to kill each other).
