Oh dear. I can only hope with Carter being in charge that she wont be used much but on saying that...if there is a science drama the writers can't believeably not use her. The same for if there is a military issue.
So she's going to be foisted into all aspects of Atlantis because shes such a mary sue she can do everything. Command the ships, command Atlantis over shep and command the science teams. How is Mckay ever going to be considered superior over Carter? How is Shep going to be seen to make judgement calls that arent better made by Sam? She'll probably have the ancient gene and that will be the final piss take.
What are the writers thinking? There is a complete disregard for what the fans of ATLANTIS want and we've been pretty hard against this silly decision. Obviously, SG1 will never die because they want to turn Atlantis into it.
The show I loved is starting to disappear with every season and its uniqueness fading.
