Oh yeah, Million Dollar Movie on channel 9 (er, can't recall who it was way back then) used to show movies like "Attack of the Crab Monsters" Monday through Friday, each night! I mean, if you missed it Monday, you could catch it Tuesday, or just watch it five days in a row, which as a kid I'd do with the better bad movies.
Chiller Theater, Monster Matinee. All relics of the past, alas. And Godzilla movies every Sunday afternoon.
I sorta remember "Food of the Gods," but I guess thankfully blocked it from my mind. I do remember "Empire of the Ants," a perfectly awful movie. THEM! is still the classic giant ant movie.
