He's been scheduled to come to Aus and NZ several times over the past two years, and hasn't come, so I'd be surprised if he did. Unless he was planning to bring the whole family with him.
I just get the feeling he's not too keen on conventions. He probably does as many as he's obliged to do contracturally, and leaves it at that.
24 hours on a plane to get to Aus is a bit different to a few hours to get to London, so there's that issue as well.
BUT, he was supposed to come here in 2007 when Torri did her NZ/Aus cons, and didn't. He's also been scheduled for two other conventions in Aus this year, that he hasn't done.
