Most of the fandom was already watching both shows to begin with, but I bristle at the fact that they killed off Beckett and reduced to almost non existent the character of Weir so they could pay her huge salary. Not only that but I remember 4 years ago that TPTB said that the 2 universes would not cross and SGA would not become SG-1 in the Pegasus Galaxy. So what do they give us? SG-1 in the Pegasus Galaxy. I'll watch the show because I have invested a lot in the characters that I already care about. As a TIVO owner and show DVD buyer whenever I see Super Sam I will press the little fast forward button unless one of my favorite crew is in the shot. I didn't hate her while she was on SG-1, but I do really hate her now. TPTB really don't understand how they have ruined the dynamic of the show and I don't think they really care either. Good thing she is in only 14 episodes, wish it were a lot less.
