OMFG! Wow, that just blew me away. Completely engrossed me and totally knocked my socks off. It was perfect. That's really exactly how I picture John- upset by it all, worried about his friends, really upset by the dichotomy of his feelings and even more worried that he's becoming jaded. You packed so much into that, and handled all of the controversy with finesse. Umm.. I think you've stunned me into a stupor! I really can't think of a way to convey how I'm feeling after reading that, at least not without writing an essay rather than a response. I guess I'll just settle for saying thank you so much for portraying the John I see, but doing so more eloquently than I ever could. *hugs*
