Well, today SciFi reported that the Beeb (aka BBC) is going to make a fifth series of DOCTOR WHO, but, that's in 2010! Yikes!

Meanwhile, SyFyPortal drops the potential news that EUREKA's numbers are pretty good, so we'll probably see a third season, which is fine by me again as I do like that show. The numbers aren't so good for FLASH GORDON, and my gawd, every time you turn on SCiFi there's an ad for it. I've tried FG, even watch it or record it to look for SGA ads, but it's a substandard show, sorry to say.

Eureka is fun to watch and the kids love it. As for Dr. Who, I saw that the good doctor is going to be doing theater for two years. Why on earth put a show on hiatus so an actor can do theater...especially when it has a following? Flash Gordon is a dud....

Ancientcitadel has an article on the Doctor Who situation, something to do with the BBC switching over to High Definition TV. So whilst this is happening David Tennant has time to do some Theatre work.

I've heard Flash Gordon is such a stinker that I'm too scared to go anywhere near it. But I loved the movie.

Well, with Doctor Who always on or off, I mean it's been on the air for decades, a couple years won't hurt, except that it's one of the best scifi shows on right now. Darn.

Tell me about it! I got hooked because of older siblings so have been watching since Doctor number 4. My sister is still afraid of giant spiders!
