Let's see, I've watched a bit more. Still taping JOURNEYMAN on NBC. Don't know if it's a keeper, but I like Kevin McKidd so will decide later. It's against CSI: MIAMI, which has gotten a bit soapish, but oddly enough, it's still appealing. I tried about two minutes of ABC's CAVEMAN and why on Earth is that dreck not yet extinct? Yeouch, but it is BAD!! I really feel for any TV critic who actually had to sit through all 20 minutes of it (I'm assuming they don't get subjected to commercials). I finally got around to watching LIFE (NBC) and it's appealing, though not a keeper. I guess I've seen too many 'quirky' detectives, but I do like the lead actor. I'm giving PUSHING DAISIES (which at first I felt was an awful premise) another try tonight. It's just so weird, a mixture of the dry British narration of HItchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, with a dash of perverse Tim Burton stuff. Hmm, I could do without the singing number they put into tonight's episode though...

I figure tonight is the night for cast changes on CRIMINAL MINDS, which is my 'leave on in the background' show untl CSI: NY airs (which has gotten better, especially since they got Gary Sinise in T-shirts - yes, I can be shallow) ;) CSI is still percolating along, and I don't miss that Sara is going to leave, and I don't care that Sara and Grissom are an item, although there are bits and pieces in the first seven seasons which seem to negate that but oh well, I suppose I watch mostly for William Petersen and the science stuff anyway. WITHOUT A TRACE is still good, E.R. is dragging along, I miss Luka, but I'll psuedo-watch it (tape it, speed search through characters I'm 'meh' about). I gave up on MOONLIGHT on the second episode. I love LAS VEGAS with Tom Selleck (I tape it while I watch STARATE ATLANTIS live) :)

Meanwhile, picked up the DVD of BLACK SHEEP which I will watch this weekend, unless I find a 90 minute block of time before that. Genetically mutated killer sheep! YES!!! :)

Missed the premier ep of Life, but saw it last week and was hooked! Can't wait for it tonight.

I miss Luca from ER too. I didn't watch it at all last season. It seems he's off doing work in Croatia?

I'll watch LIFE on tape tomorrow :) Sigh, ER ain't the same without Luka... yeah, I think I heard Abby say he's doing something with family in Crotia.

I agree Journeyman isn't a keeper, and they're bugging me with the excessive inexplicableness, but.... There's something about the show that keeps me interested and watching. Parhaps my love of time travel stories and "fixing" things, some things anyway. But to be honest, I'm not much enjoying the wife and the kid and the brother. Ah well, it's apparently not doing well in the ratings, so I probably won't be watching it for long.

I haven't watched tonight's Pushing Daisies yet. Last week's episode was okay, but I think it's being oversold by the critics. I also don't much care for the premise of bringing back a dead person for only one minute, but it's worth watching a few more times to see where it goes.

Life (the series) continues to be surprisingly good. I like both the main characters--the actors are doing a nice job. The police cases have had just enough twists to be interesting, and I love Adam Arkin's character.

I haven't found any "keepers" this season, but my favorite new series is Chuck. Another show with likeable characters. Totally unrealistic (because, yes, they would put this guy in protective custody or something) but fun. Chuck is kind of a loser, but they have shown him to come through when it counts in every episode so far. I also really like that his sister cares for him and is happy that Chuck seems to have found a "nice" girl. And Adam Baldwin is totally hysterical in the Buy More scenes.

I tried CHUCK but it didn't catch for me, but I wonder if someone is out there collecting Adam Baldwin's scenes, as I saw one and yes, very funny!

I don't know if I'll continue to watch any of the new shows as so far, none have really grabbed me, but I leave 'em on in the background while I do computer work :)

I just watched the second Pushing Daisies. Unfortunately, the syrup and the narration and the goofiness have all started to pall. And that song! I fast forwarded immediately. I'm not really finding the bringing people back and then--zap!--funny either. I'm thinking I won't be taping this one next week.

WHY can't they put Las Vegas or Numb3rs or Atlantis or even Men in Trees on some other time? Gak! And I'm afraid the competition is killing SGA.

I just hope SGA survives into a fifth season and Skiffy takes in account the major competition from network fare.

I like Pushing Daisies but, yeah, the little musical number had me flipping channels until it was over. They need to be careful with how far they take its quirkiness or they'll end up driving viewers away.

I love how CSI:NY has been thus far. They always have the funnest, strangest, most unique cases. I really love what's going on with Mac and the strange phone calls. My only concern is whether or not what's going on relates to a case we've actually seen in one of the episodes, or some case we'll never have heard of until Mac talks about it (some deep, dark, past deal he's never told anyone, etc.) I'm hoping for the former as it gives the audience the chance to play along. The latter could work, but I feel it would lessen the quality of the mystery.

Yea, the 333 phone calls on CSI NY are pretty intriguing!

CSI: Miami is like watching a train wreck...you just can't look away and you know it's going to be bad. LOL! What is with that man and his Kirkisms? Did you happen to catch Jim Carrey imitating David Caruso on Letterman? ROFL! It's on youtube...

But NY and Vegas? Yeah baby! Bring on the hot men in t-shirts! I go to CBS.com to watch 'em again! And NCIS, and Numb3rs (which I tape during SGA and watch later)

I have NO idea, but HOratio is the most fascinating character to me on Miami. Yeah, sometimes it is like driving by a car wreck. You just gotta stare...

Caveman & Journeyman, from what I understand are on the chopping block. Ratings are in the tanker for both and critical reviews on Caveman have gone south.

Now, I miss all this "drama" by not having my satellite dish running at the moment and not having local channels. (I live just a ways outside of the metro area proper and don't get local channels even on antenna. :-p)

SGA I will watch live at the parental units this week - big LCD panel in the living room, fridge to raid, free laundry access.... (they are in FL for 2 weeks while waiting on their mater bath rehab to finish, instead of waiting to move until it was done, or gee, even not moving at all! *grrrr*)
