and then the rest is available only to subscribers, but I read it, and went, oops, nope, too short, oops no, wait, wear glasses. If they take them off, I'll be a blind Wraith stumbling around Times Square....

Guess I'll be keeping an eye out on the New Year's Eve stuff now....

Don't feel like a shrimp! They don't make shoes tall enough to make me 5'9! But I like to think that I'm very nearly Rachel Luttrell's height--and you must really be her height, if you just need five inches.

Katy Manning (Jo Grant on Doctor Who) apparently wore coke-bottle-thick glasses whenever not actively on camera and was constantly running into things when she was on camera because she couldn't see a freaking thing.

yeah, i'm about Rachel's height, and the glasses, well, take 'em off and I'm sure I'd walk into something. Tried contacts but they kept getting stuck to the eyeballs. Unpleasant.

I just hope this wraith in Times Square actually makes it to TV. ANd to think I wasn't going to watch. Now I must!

The lady who played Leela (Louise Jamison) was also blind as a bat and she was the one that liked to throw knives too... ;)
