ARGH! I put out a suet feeder for the BIRDS - yet when I come out this morning, something has opened it and absconded with the entire thing. Bet it was a raccoon, or maybe squirrels. They're tenacious. I think I'll replace the suet and put a lock on it.

Yes, this is what people do in suburbia.....

Well at least it's not a possum in the roof. We never had animal theft except when the foxxes would go after the chooks and I grew up on a farm. We had horsies, explains the icon of my beloved cash cow, if the bugger ever races. :(

we have a possum on the ground, and squirrels and chipmunks run riot across the roof, but probably not as much as before since the red tail hawk decided our yard was a good place to have lunch, or breakfast, or both

Noo, I like the chipmunks.... well, the hawk seems to get more birds than squirrels, I think. New suet is in the feeder and I used one of those plastic things they use on garbage bags, which I think might be better than a twist tie, but I should know soon.
