Just noting it's single digits outside, with wind chill below zero (-7 at last report and it sure feels it!). No snow either, which would probably help the critters outside immensely. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................
I'd just like the mid-70s, for more than 1-2 weeks, which is what we get and then gets into hot and muggy... of course right now 67 sounds like a heatwave!
As long as it cools down at night I can cope. On Monday it was about 40°C (104°F) and the low over night was 30°C (86°F). That was horrible. Everyone had trouble sleeping.
Dear God. I live in Texas, where 30 degrees makes people act like we're in the middle of a blizzard. We're so spoiled, I can't even *imagine* what -7 wind chill feels like.

Date: 2008-01-03 06:03 pm (UTC)I don't think hell is hot. I think hell is cold.. awful.
The coldest I've experienced was about -15 celsius in Colorado in 2006. Though for some reason it actually felt colder in Chicago.
