And Stargate Atlantis wins the People's Choice Award!

Stargate Atlantis was up for Favorite Sci-Fi Show (against Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who). And they won! YES!! But gah, having to sit through so much drivel before they got to that one award was ... painful.

You'll find a crappy video below. AKA I aimed the cheap digital camera at the old TV and filmed so quality is eh, but hey, it's instant gratification until a better copy comes along! Screencaps to follow in the next entry :)

[P.S. they really should have stuck A Dog's Breakfast in under Favorite Independent Movie, as well, it was my favorite indie film!]

We were so robbed!!! If it wasn't for that darned writers' strike those four may have been up on stage accepting the award!!! Talk about visibility! I'm so thrilled they won!

I see Joe is in "on hiatus and not working mode" with the beard :)

Poor man's probably gotta shave at least twice a day when filming.
I'm curious, though. How does the writer's strike affect the actor's ability to go on stage for their thank-yous?

Becasue the evil WAG members struck a deal with the screen actors guild not to cross the pickett line per say.

I swear if this strike goes on and effects the SAG deal in June and we get no Jason or Joe for part season 5 I will blow a fuse.
