Dismembering Audrey...
Apr. 6th, 2008 11:21 pm Well, Audrey's kin, since I have no idea where the original Audrey is in the yard. Audrey is the nasty big thorny bush that has propagated all over the back yard. Ouch. Spent a couple hours hacking and now at least I have a path through the old garden (I'm sure the deer will like that). Will dig out the denim jacket for further work as those thorns go through anything else!
Speaking of deer, it warmed up yesterday and the midges and flies found Zombie Bambi's bones and were doing a bit of noshing, but alas, the temps went down again today (and for half the week, it looks like) so will have to wait a few more days to see what happens. We'll move the bones once they're stripped enough, or the grass begins to grow, as I'm not about to mow over the poor remains.
TV's looking up. The CSIs are back (although watching Horatio deal with the bad guys in part 2 of the two-parter was, well, pretty hysterical as it was so outlandish), and yes, Doctor Who is back in two weeks :)
