MediaWest*Con and season/series finale

So, who all is going? Leaving in two days (a friend and I arrive on Wednesday). I put together a pictorial "Guide to Stargate Atlantis Whump" door decoration which I'll put up as soon as the hotel gives the okay for us to paper the doors, etc. :)

Just saw the series finale for MOONLIGHT. Gotta say Claudia Black is making a career of being in tight black outfits, but her character was great. At least they didn't end this series with killing off anyone. Saw that NEW AMSTERDAM got the axe, but that didn't surprise me. Hope the actor, whose name escapes me, gets a new gig. I have to watch ALL the season finales of shows I'm interested in as otherwise I'd have to walk around the con with my fingers in my ears. NCIS is gonna be tough as I may have to record it, grab it and run out the door and watch at the con. So now will watch SUPERNATURAL, even though I've barely seen any of the third season (I'll buy the DVD set and stick it with the other two seasons to hopefully get through one of these years). I knew CSI was gonna end on that gawawful bad note when Gary Dourdan got busted. I mean, alas poor Warrick, I knew him well. Geez. CSI NY ends on a cliffie, I hear, and Miami I can't recall, but it's on tomorrow.

Is the final Programming Schedule up on a website anywhere? I always like to print it out early and then go through it hour-by-hour to plan ahead. And then, of course, I run into old friends and the plan goes out the window! (g)

But then (since I've planned ahead) it's always easy to get back on track when I'm in the panel-going mood again a few hours later.

Oh, duh, I was also going to comment about various season finales. I'm so behind on shows due to traveling for work that I've been marathoning this weekend. I finally saw last week's Bones, which I knew something big and bad happened at the very end. I suspected what it was right off--and I was correct. Can't wait to see tomorrow night's episode.

I still have to watch last week's NCIS quickly because, like you, I will HAVE to watch it before going to the con. It really bugs me when people come to the various panels at MW and then bitch because they don't want to hear any spoilers. Puh-lease! (For shows which have already aired, that is. I can understand not wanting to be spoiled for future things.)

I accidently taped over New Amsterdam, but a friend is loaning me her tape if I can manage to get it in the next day or two. I haven't seen the last Moonlight yet, and I'm looking forward to seeing CB. I liked Moonlight well enough, but it doesn't really shatter me that it was cancelled--I have friends who are VERY unhappy about that though.

And as for Supernatural--wow, my lj friends are going nuts over the ending, so I know something REALLY big happened. I need to go watch it QUICKLY I think. In fact, what the heck am I doing HERE? I should be in front of my TV! (VBG)

It sucks living in Montana sometimes. All the good cons are, like, three or more states away....

Have a blast, please take a pic of you guide to SGA Whump (I expect it's as hilarious as your Sheppard Whump Kit), and especially don't do the mistake I made when I went to a Shindig in Vegas 2 years by finishing a fishbowl drink by yourself (hey, I won an official Serenity baseball cap) AND eating Indian food for lunch the next day....

It was, um, not pretty. =^.^=

I'll be arriving at MediaWest on Friday (BF and I usually squeak in just before the con opens).

Women's Murder Club had a cliffhanger and then promptly got canceled. I don't understand why the network went to all the trouble of hiring a new showrunner if they were only going to give it a couple of episodes to prove itself.
