True, but I'm not one of them.

Anyways I'm sure the fan would be happy!

ROFL

People actually got questioned on what type of underwear they wear??

(God, I hope not...how embarrassing!)

Some fans will ask anything. And they might not be embarrassed, but I'm always embarrassed for them. But then I'm relieved to realize that I'm not the geekiest fan in the world and I must have a real life after all, and I feel much better. \o/

I feel the same.

We have a life and not everything can be about one person you like the most.

Hope it wasn't too harsh...

Nah. There are some fans out there who, well, live and breathe their lives for one show or one actor. God forbid that actor quit acting, or the show gets cancelled. I've read articles about people who abandon their real life to be on the net (whether in fandom, or the more soul-sucking online games like World of Warcraft). Quite honestly, I'm more worried about my 401K than I am about a show being cancelled ;)

Oh yes, the stupidest things. They'll ask the actor to sing for them or something like that, or ask a question straight out of that William Shatner Saturday Night Live skit - those kinds of fans DO exist. I've seen 'em. Then I recall one fan I saw at a con a few years ago saying she was picking up an actor's beer bottle and was going to ebay it and make money off it. Sheesh.

Oh yes, in ye olden pre-net days, fans would ask stupid questions like that.

Oh, no. They ask 'em now. And there are stalkers. At DragonCon when Cliff Simon had his one-on-one (actually him and a roomful of drooling females and one or two guys) there was a woman who sat first row-center. She apparently goes to every Con he appears at in North America, she asks questions constantly and prompts him if he doesn't give all the information she thinks he should. He knows her name. And she might not scare him (he just seemed amused by her), but she frightened me!

Nope. His "handler" was in the corner making faces.
