MGM/SciFi/NBCU, whatver, pulled the plug on Stargate Atlantis, yet they *renewed* the drivel that is known as Knight Rider? Okay, it's just nine episodes, but even 9 minutes more of KR is too much!

Okay, that's one sign of the impending apocalypse, I suppose...

Just goes to show...

That the networks are looking for "cheap" shows to make as much money as they possibly can. KR probably costs SciFi/NBCU 1/10th as much as Stargate Atlantis.

Hopefully, the Stargate franchise will live on in direct to DVD sales for years to come.

And we thought SGU was the worst idea in the cosmos... *headdesk*

well, at least we know the actors in KR won't be in SGU ;)

I was extremely bored and wanted to procrastinate one Sat. when they were re-running KR (it's up against 'Bones' here - no contest to what I'm watching). Watched about 5 mins and went back to cleaning. Yes, it was that bad.

well, thankfully, otherwise you would have burned out who knows how many brain cells instead of killing dust bunnies ;)

Speaking of dust bunnies, I'm going to a con next month in Burbank. Kavan and DH will both be there (along with Jason and Rachel). I'm very tempted if I have the time (major school stuff the week before) to print out your 'Dustbusters' motivational poster for them. You wouldn't mind, would you - I'd be sure to credit you?

OOoh, sure, go ahead. Maybe you can tack my LJ addy on the back so they know where to go for more nonsense ;) Take a picture of them holding up! Get a DNA sample! Whoa, wait, too early in the a.m. to think ;)

Say, did you get Kavan to sign it? I gave him a copy in NJ and he said he'd just signed a copy of it a few minutes before I got to the table! :>

No, I didn't get a chance to print them out. Would have liked to, since Kavan was telling stories about how David was during the filming! David's comment, "Yes, it hurt for a few seconds, but I whined about it for a week."

Oh, lord, Kavan's stories about DAvid's whining are just priceless! I loved the "my eye! my eye!" with the dust in "Search & Rescue". I'd love to get to a con with DAvid and then repeat the story and say "okay, now let's hear your side" ;)

Heh, I'm watching it. I don't mind it so much, though I thought the lead looked better with shaggy hair. I think there's potential with it and my Kitt nostalgia from the 80s is strong. *sheepish* TBH, I like it almost more than SGA right now because of the fact that season 5 has been the Keller lovefest. I adore Joe Flanigan but all we get is Keller Rodney Ronon Keller Rodney Daniel Jackson! zomg Keller Rodney oh!Carson Rodney...blah blah blah.

Yes, Keller4evah! is the writer's motto on the show ;) Anyway, I tried KR, doesn't appeal to me cuz, well, it's boring and lord, Kitt is, Kitt is.... what a travesty. Sorry, it's William Daniels or nobody for that voice.

Yeah, how shitty was that? It's a bunch of crap. I am so disgusted with the decision to cancel SG1/SGA and bring in Sanctuary and SGU.

I gave up on Sanctuary, I found that I wanted to do thing I normally put aside during the week, like homework during the show and that says a lot.

It's a slap in the face, alright, renewing something that crappy...

But, I guess, what else has NBC got? All their other new shows are equally awful.

I used to like Heroes, but.... :(

The only thing I look forward to is the rest of SGA and the last episodes of BSG, after that I am getting rid of SciFi. They can have their wrestling shows and shove it.

Yes, truly revolting...but you can't make sense out of crazy. you can however throw up in disgust...and mail it to mgm. Oh, sorry, that was my inner voice!

I just wish the studios would stop remaking old shows, and actually write something original. There seems to be no talent left :(

I saw the pilot and thought it was okay. My six year old nephew love it, but I think that's all about the car. :)

I don't want to believe that. Accidentally caught 5 min of KR while hub was channel surfing. *shiver*

Where have all the good shows gone?

Hubby and I are watching it....sort of. We DVR it then when there is nothing left on tv and I am stuck on the couch, we turn it on. I wouldn't mind not watching it ever again, but oh well. Sometimes KITT makes me laugh.

you know, for all the polls i've done for NBC, they have yet to mention KR. Hmmm...

I haven't seen the new KR, but if it's anything like the old one, I totally agree with your assessment, Wraithfodder...

crap will always get renewed, it's cheap, it's not creative (which takes time and money) and it's mindless! What more could you want to save a buck!!!!

From: [identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com
And all the ratings are down across the board.
