Okay, I snerched this photo from Astraldust over at GW, who capped the ONLY picture truly worthwhile from this episode of Stargate Atlantis. This is for the fans who just can't bring themselves to spend an hour of their life watching the episode....

.

Oh oh, look, don't know how long it will last, but it's up on YouTube!

Thank You! Because I can't even make myself download this ep. I didn't even think twice when I went to another school's football game last night instead of watching this ep; how sad is that?

Oh, someone put the snippet up on YouTube. don't know how long it will last, but added the link to the entry. Now you can watch the 30 seconds or so worth watching ;)

See, Rodney - even Sheppard knows it just isn't right.

Actually, I rather liked the episode.
Bill Nye was a hoot & Rodney had some great lines about dinosaurs, etc.
*ducks & runs away

I liked it too. It was nice seeing Bill Nye, and when Rodney called him a "science guy" I almost squealed. Plus, Dave Foley!

Of course it would have been better if Shepard and Ronan had been there. Maybe they could have talked Keller out of wearing those boots. Because seriously? Boots with and evening gown?

Yeah, the boots and evening outfit would be in the back of Glamour magazine as a "don't". Who knows what they were thinking when they decided to dress up Keller...

Nye and Foley were fun, but the plot and writing... :(

I never saw the boots, but totally liked the dress. Keller looks good dressed up & it's too bad they had to trash it when they soaked her. :p

But hey, it's a Gero ep - the man is totally sophomoric in his attitude towards women. *sigh*

I'm in the minority, but I actually liked it too. It entertained me and I wasn't cringing. That's good enough for me :)

I don't mind if other people love it (as long as they don't tie me to a chair and force me to watch it over and over) ;) If we all loved the show unconditionally, boy, the lists sure would be dull! :)

Ahh, that pic and clip best and only good things about the ep. How I wish I hadn't watched it. Loooove that picture. Thank you.

Yeah. I rewatched the episode last night and it was slightly better becuase I had absolutely no expectations of quality, although I did find more things to gripe about ;)

"although I did find more things to gripe about"

I can't stomach the ep ever again, but reading different reviews I keep seeing points mentioned that bugged me too. Yep, lots more gripes just reading reviews. The ep was so bad Mallozzi left the country! *g* Would love to be a fly on the wall and see if Gero and the writers read any reviews. They would of course only listen to the sycophants that worship them. BTW, do you remember whose idea the ship was? Was it Gero or Mullie?

i loved this episode. I have not been watching them as regularly as I used to though, mainly because I hate that SciFi feels the need to remind us that it is the final season, and the best season, I get the episode the next morning and because I am busy with my studies. I find myself hating scifi every Friday. I try to watch them though.

Thsi episode really does seem to be a love it or hate it type scenario judging from the reaction across the net.

Yeah, that was the ONLY part of the episode that was worth watching.
McKay and Keller?
as Ronon said, "Who Cares?"
What a ridiculous episode, I'd so much rather have gone with John and Ronon on their camping and surfing trip.
Or at least they could have made that the B story and those of us who despise McKeller could have at least tuned in for more that 35 seconds.

The clip is available for d/l here:http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1VKEDS7E

But the McKeller long shots have been edited out as well. The best 30 seconds of the epp remains.

Thank you, so far it's the only scene that I was able to watch entirely. The very next one made me gag in less than 10 seconds and everytime I tried to go forward I was on Keller's face, I couldn't take it. And even worse, I tried to watch the last 10 seconds and I think I'm still in shock at the sex offer to make Rodney shut the hell up...

I may have never recovered hadn't it been for this picture ;).

Thank you! I can't bear to watch the episode. Ever. In a trillion years. Now I can at least look at Sheppard and his woebegone little face.
