Stargate Universe: John Scalzi

Interestingly enough, John Scalzi, scifi author and now creative consultant to Stargate Universe, has a blog (Scifi-scanner) over at the AMC Website

He hasn’t said a thing on Stargate Universe, but does talk science-fiction. If nothing else, an interesting read, and we’ll see how his attitude translates into work on show. Meanwhile, I'm a few chapters into his first book, Old Man's War. Decent. so far. I'd read more if I wasn't always interrupted!

Yeah, I'm hoping the actors will outshine the descriptions, and well, the writing (seeing as how I'm sure we'll get retreads of older SG scripts) ;)
