Jessica Steen played Dr. Weir in the SG-1 episodes of Stargate SG-1, but got replaced by Torri Higginson in the show. Wait, why am I saying this? Everybody knows it, right?

Huzzah for Jessica Steen! Okay, I don't actually watch the show, but that has just increased the odds that I will turn it on someday from zero to small. Nothing against Torri, but I was seriously bummed they didn't keep Jessica on SGA. I've liked her since Earth 2.

I like Jessica too and was bummed when she got replaced, but I *do* like Torri too, so I can't decide between them, and won't. I am glad that Jessica's got a role (not permanent, darn) on Flashpoint though. Prime time exposure! In two countries! :)

Eh, this news does nothing for me really. She may bring on some interesting dynamics amongst the team, but I hope it's nothing super angsty.

I was kind of hoping for some development for Lewis, Spike, and Wordy first. Oh well. We'll see what happens.

Yep. Although Weir #1 got killed. But she was on there for six seasons. I think Torri's been there for the last two.

When they switched Jessica to Torri.. I was SO mad.. but ended up liking Torri as well. I too couldn’t choose between them.
