Yeah, they tell you not to do this, but not really, but there's no warning in the book for ... running your cellphone through the washing machine. I guess I'm fortunate it started clunking in the dryer and then I found, vibrating (which it doesn't do) and the screen flashing like it's possessed. yanked out battery. Nope, dead Jim. Ran off to Best Buy, replaced with the new pink LG Flare (which is quite pretty) and transferred all my $/time over to the new phone.

Now, to choose a ringtone. Ohmygawd, they've got Stargate Atlantis, MacGyver, Chips, Avengers! But sniff, no Flashpoint, Adderly, Night Heat... OOh, they have Flipper, but must think about THAT blaring out when the phone rings... Hmmm....Nah. Oooh, Gilligan's Island (do you detect a theme here?)

Decisions, decisions...

I love assigning rings to people. That way I don't even have to look to see who is calling. Makes my life easier. I don't ignore people, just there are times it is easier to let it go to voicemail if I am in the middle of something.

Of course, I suppose it would make sense to actually turn the phone on, too... I rarely ever use it. Just for emergencies and other stuff.

Hubby is the main one to call me and he usually calls or texts me while I'm at work. He hates to go through the office line. The kids always say to tell him "Hi" because they recognize his ring.

I also live a long distance phone call away from just about everyone so they can call my cell to save some money. We kept our MD phone numbers when we moved to PA.
