Erasing Stargate Atlantis off the DVR

Yes, I need the space, and I'm copying it off to DVD. However, ti's only the 6-hour version I'm zapping. I can't brnig myself to erase the SP or 1-hour mode which is much better, at least not until the actual honest-to-gosh season 5 Stargate Atlantis DVDs come out. Now if Hulu would just put up SGA, but at this rate, I think it will be years....

I'm pretty sure I saw something about season 5 of SGA being on hulu. Because I saw it and thought that would have been handy if I'd actually like the season.

Oh yeah, forgot about that, but would love to see all of SGA out. It took forever for it appear and it was weird that Skiffy was putting online episodes of everything 'cept SG on their site.

But I still find it hard to watch it on a computer, although I was just informed that Flipper is on Hulu, and that I have not seen in eons, so I may check that out.

I just checked HULU and they have a few SGA.....
I guess I might just download the few episodes from each
season that I might like to keep e.g. Travelers,
38 Minutes, Phantom, The Defiant, Conversion etc.
or better yet get them through our library system and
burn them........that sounds easiest.

Have you thought about downloading them? I usually download episodes and keep them (for watching/screenshots) until DVDs come out, then erase them from my hard drive.

The season 5 dvds will be out before I figure out how to download ;) But well, the only thing I am really taping, er, recording now is Flashpoint, and the odd show or movie, and CSI, although I'm beginning to wonder why, at least with Miami (the soap).

Someone said that SciFi, SyFy, Skiffy, whatever the hell is the name of it now had some of the episodes. I must go check. Mine are just sitting there too on the DVR.

I have a confession. I've been holding off watching the last 7 episodes because I was sad it was ending. My husband downloaded the entire season from Itunes. So last night we watched Prodigal, Renmants and Brain storm. It made me miss it more :-( Where else is Bill Nye going to slap Dave Foley?

I know what you mean! Even after getting the DVDs I have a hard time actually deleting my DL'd files. (Okay, I don't delete them so much as move them to the external hard drive.) I have an irrational fear that I'll desperately want to watch an ep and won't have it...or something. Guess I'm just not ready to let go. :(

Frankly with the exception of a few, a very few, episodes in
Season Five, I could easily erase it, permanently.........
To say it was mediocre would be giving it a lot of credit.
I just can't understand how things got so out of control
when it all started out so well.

I just erased all the 6 hour versions, although couldn't bring myself to erase "vegas".... No, I don't think it was the best season. Seasons 1-3 were my favs.
