And how bored are we?

Yes, so bored that I'm videotaping the garbage cans, but not without cause, mind you ;) Anyway, we're doing a bunch of work on the house, hence the state of concrete blocks and junk piled up and paint off house, but the garbage cans. Squirrels chewed HOLES through the top. Gah! At least the raccoons just toss their huge bulk into them and knock them over and don't chew the plastic, but the squirrels... Anyway, earlier this week I was headed out, and heard noise in the garbage, so quickly got out digital camera. Walked up, kicked the can (gently) and well, the video will show you the dangers that lurk below....

I'm waiting till they get so fat they can't squeeze through the hole! But I'm going to try - again - to seal it shut with wirecloth and duct tape.

we don't really have a problem with them... its kind of rare to see them around here... though they are getting more common then they used to

Nah, they'll just rip it off like the last time... oh, we have a nice group of half a dozen or more out at the squirrel, er, bird feeder every morning...

i have only ever seen the one around the house and i think he is old, i swear he is the one that my younger brother and i used to watched a couple of years ago

there are some in the park sometimes but that's about it

I loved it how we had this "squirrel proof" bird feeder at my parents' old house (in the middle of the woods on 5.5 acres of land that they sold to move into a bloody condo in the city of all things!) & the squirrels figured out how to defeat it so they could get to the seeds.

They were rather ingenious little devils. :-p

Squirrel proof feeders are so darned expensive I've given up, plus, had one. THat didn't last long.
