Wow, great lineup!

Think I'll stick my chatter beneath a cut in case of spoilers....

First, Flashpoint. Well, I'm still enjoying the show, and it's so weird to see a show with snow in it (since most shows film in L.A. or Vancouver). I like that they follow up from episode to episode on certain key points; in this case, Donna. Her inaction at the scene was seen by Ed, who called her on the carpet about it. I think she's heading toward burnout as at some point, Jules will come back.

Primeval. I'd been very tempted to BUY the DVD set but every time I got a good coupon at Borders they never had it! Then it popped up on Syffy. I wasn't disappointed. The characters are engaging, the acting good, the little chlirpy flying dinosaur named Rex was simply adorable, and the CGI effects were pretty decent. Plus, yes, new scenary. I swear, I've seen every single tree in Vancouver what with X-File sand Stargate filming there ;) And I do like shows/movies with large nasty creatures roaming around eating people. It's just fun.

And then, whoa, yes, a repeat of Stargate Atlantis' "Trinity" episode. One of my favs for the Sheppard-McKay interaction :)

Gah, wish we'd gotten a sixth season of SGA.

And the Musak while he went up. Aw..... okay, I'm a sucker for reptiles that act like cats. Glad he 'got left behind,' so to speak :)

I became addicted to Primeval a year and a half ago. I think I watched two certain episodes at least 30+ times each.
Yes can we say addicted?
I have the British version and NA verion of the DVD.
Damn but Douglas Henshall is hot.

Not sure who Douglas Henshall is - credits were fragmented and I was like 'huh, what?" but anyway, can you tell me if the show is intact, not edited, on SciFi? I don't think there'd really be anything to edit, but if it's missing pieces, I may just buy the DVDs.

What's the NA version?

Is Primeval a series or a mini-series movie? Either way, I actually enjoyed it after thinking I wouldn't. But so goes the story of me and my favorite TV shows. Most I go into thinking I won't enjoy them, only to end up loving them to pieces.

Primeval is an ongoing series:
Season One had 6 episodes
Season Two had 7 episodes and
Season Three will have 10 episodes.

Now Season Three is airing (episode 3 last monday). We here in germany are one episode ahead to the BBC/ITV, thanks to PRO 7, but I do not know if we loose this because of the easter monday.

Primeaval is cool, thats right!

Aw, okay. Thanks. I'd assumed it was a mini-series movie thing, I don't know why. That's cool. We need something fun to watch on Friday Nights :D

It's a series.

It's not the same as Stargate Atlantis (miss it sooooo much, especially after watching it again last night) but well, guess it's the only thing I'll really watch on SciFi now (thinking, yup, that's about it).

Watch the first 2 series before you decide to buy the DVDs. I didn't like series 2 nearly as much as series 1.
