GW: Great. The Atlantis movie then: Is that a little bit more pushed back? Is it looking at maybe 2010?

BW: No, Paul [Mullie] and Joe [Mallozzi] are writing the script, and it's just a question of which one we can proceed with first. There are issues, as there always are. But there have been a few changes in the way the world works right now, especially in terms of DVD sales.

I have mixed emotions about it.........
I would love to see more of the quality that they provided in
the pilot but really feel that as the series went on the writing
got more and more sloppy.
I don't have much confidence if Mallozzi is doing any of it
and particularly because he seems to have such a problem with
Flangian.

I'm really hoping the SGA movie will have the quality/budget of "Rising" and not waste time stuck on Earth.

My hope is that, like in many movies, the happy couple is broken up before the movie begins ;)
