And yes, that's him in the LJ icon too! ;) anyway, took kitty to the vet for his regular shots, and just when he was about to get them, the vet got called into the back for an emergency, so I sat there for a while with the cat, who, actually, was a LOT calmer than when he was in the car (screaming every 2.5 seconds).

Aww, poor kitty doesn't like the vets! I've read that Siamese cats are very vocal and can well believe he shouted at you in the car all the way there (and back too, I'm guessing!). Such a cutie!

Heh, I have a video of the trip to the vet. Well, it's the camera aired at the carrier's side, since I was driving. Just constant yowling! ;) yes, once in car, howling engages ;)

Poor kitty - mine has a similar 'pity me' meow when stuck in the carrier - at least yours wasn't constant - I had a friend who had to move her 2 Siamese (a three hour car trip) and the cats cried until they were hoarse.

Ohhhh, but it is constant! He shut up once I got out of the car and a dog in the car next to ours started barking, but once he got his shot, and we left, it was screaming all the way home, every 2.5 seconds ;)

I miss having Siamese cats around. When I take my snowshoe to the vet he cries from beginning to end. He is strictly an indoor cat and freaks when he's taken outside so I have to put a "hat" on him so he won't go mental.

Being an Atlantis geek and being a vet as well, I humbly send love and petting to the kitty. Vets are people too. =)

I have a chocolate point Siamese, he’s a rescue an I love him to bits BUT that cat has a great pair of lungs on him " ha ha" an he thinks he's a human baby. He likes to be cradled in your arms, tucked into bed an I mean tucked an covered up with head on a pillow, no cat bed for him he likes the real thing “ ha ha“. Am I’m the idiot owner that panders to him, so who’s the fool.

Just played the clip an he couldn’t work out where the noise was coming from so promptly sat on the key board great, an I lost what I had typed “ ha ha” you gotta just love them.

He's my first Siamese normally have moggys an I have 2 girlies moggys as well but Sims have stolen my heart they are just so special.

I have a blue point siamese who perked up when he heard your cat merowing...siamese don't meow, it's either a marrrowww or just rarwwwwer. And I must say, yours is far more well behaved staying in his carrier like that. Mine would have been in my lap with his head tucked under my arm.
