It's a cricket. Repeat, a cricket, not a cockroach ;) And very tiny, about the size of my fingernail, if that, but if you watch carefully, you can see his antannae are twice the size of his body. And the noise in the background is a TV commercial, and then, the cat (in video before this) yowling "feed me!"

Wow! Those antannae are really long! Cool!

And yes, I can hear his highness in the background telling you to put that camera down and do something useful - like feed him!! *g*

He does that a lot. In fact, he does it first thing in the morning, when I get home from work, to order me to bed (someone has to warm up the bed for him, you see) ;)

We have those teeny-tiny crickets, too. And they make the most nerve-wracking, high-pitched, constant sound. Drives me to distraction, so I end up hunting them down (which is a challenge, since they're so small). Usually the crickets duck under the sofa or behind the TV, laughing as they go.

Heh, sounds like they're trying to gaslight you. If one of them gets too out in open, well, there's a cat waiting to land on it ;)
