The following are Stargate Atlantis novels that are a series, which could actually be considered ‘season six’ as the series is gone. This is a planned six-part series.

SGA-??: HOMECOMING

Book 1 of 6 in the Legacy Series

Author: Jo Graham & Melissa Scott

ISBN 10: 1905586507

ISBN 13: 978-1905586509

Estimated Publication Date: September 2010 *TBC

Atlantis returns to the Pegasus Galaxy

The first of a six book series set after the end of Stargate Atlantis' final season, "Homecoming" sees Atlantis return to the Pegasus Galaxy. But the situation in Pegasus has changed. The Wraith are on the verge of unification under the new and powerful Queen Death. She stages a daring raid with one goal: the capture of the only man able to give their ships hyperdrive and lead them to Earth - Dr. Rodney McKay.

"Stargate Atlantis: Legacy" is an exciting new book series from Fandemonium Books coming in 2010. As the fantastically successful "New Jedi Order Series" did for "Star Wars", "Legacy" takes "Stargate Atlantis" fans on to uncharted new ground, exploring what happens next after the end of season five. With no reset to zero, the jeopardy for our favorite characters has never been greater as they face entirely new challenges and dangers, as well as old foes revitalized. Sheppard, McKay, Teyla, Ronon and the rest must face Wraith, Genii, and their most dangerous foes yet in a galaxy-spanning adventure to uncover the true legacy of the Ancients - a battle from which all may not return.

Note: takes place the six months after Atlantis returns to Earth. All six novels in this series “go together as one long coherent plotline covering roughly the year after ‘Enemy at the Gate.’”

Like to read in particular Hunt and Run and Death Game
At this rate, Amazon will have to start a book dept just based
on Stargate.
They had their chance to do a few more years of the series
and a few films but too bad...............

Hopefully the books will be as good as some of the fanfic out there! And if they are, at least we'll see the our beloved characters continue in print :)

Thanks for doing this, I just recently got into the SGA books. I don't usually do books based on series (didn't like the Star Wars books for instance) but then I remember that I enjoyed and still have some of the books based on the original Star Trek characters and some of them were darn good. So, I figured I'd take a chance.

In fall last year I got a message from Amazon that the release of "Internal Darkness" was cancelled. Up to now it's not available and you can't even sign up for being notified when it becomes available. Strange.

I put together a list of the SGA books as listed on Amazon for GW's forum. As of now, the list is as follows:

April - SGA 12 - Brimstone by David Niall Wilson and Patricia Lee Macomber
April - SGA 13 (listed as 14) - Hunt and Run by Aaron Rosenberg
May - SGA 14 (also listed as 14) - Dead End by Chris Wraight
July - SGA 15 - Death Game by Jo Graham
October - SGA 16 - Homecoming by Jo Graham and Melissa Scott

I tried to contact Fandemonium about their outdated web list - they didn't respond. I tried to contact them about Brimstone and what its delay meant for the rest of the books - they didn't respond. Yeah, what a way to conduct business...

I'll have to give it a whirl, write Fandy and see what's cooking.

From: [personal profile] leesa_perrie
Thank you, this list is very helpful! I do wish the release dates didn't keep getting pushed back, though! I ordered two of the books for a friend for Christmas - and it's not looking good for them to arrive before April, possibly even July!! (I did offer to buy her something else, but she'd rather wait)

Also, WANT NOW! Even if the standard of writing varies and some books are better than others, I still want them!!!!!

Do you know anything about the new audio CDs yet? And did you know that next year there might be a David Hewlett one! The audio peeps asked him at Chevron 7.4, as did at least one fan (me! *bg*) and he said he was thinking about it!!!

It would be fantastic if David did an audiobook. Yeah, I gotta do some posts on them too. I have to order the second set, come to think of it.
