Evidently it's not even hunting season in Ireland...

People are going to have to get used to Joe's deadpan sense of humor. And on the flipside, why do people keep tweeting him multiple times a day or correcting his type-o's?

I only pointed out spelling on Rhys Davies' name, but also said I couldn't help myself. It's my job at work ;)

Lol, did you? Heh. I saw more than one mention the other type-o's. I couldn't help my curiosity about what people tweet him, but I don't thikn I'll go over there too much.

I think it's safe to assume that he was playing word-games with "shooting" and that the pheasants and the deer are still alive and healthy. Wouldn't put my hand into the fire for the Guiness-thief, though.;-)

I had a similar reaction of woe and anger. But like everyone else, I'm *pretty sure* it was a pun. Definitely freaked me out for a minute there, though!

Of course it was, he's working in Ireland, not hunting.

That's perhaps more a joke about accidentally hitting (except for the Guinness-thief, of course *g*) everything beyond the range of the movie set when shooting (as in filming) a shooting (as in shooting at each other) scene outdoors - contrary to what/who he's supposed to hit. ;-)

After all he is playing a soldier and it stands to reason as such he's armed and has to shoot in the movie he's shooting. *g*

And since there's most likely no live ammo allowed on a movie set (except for the last scene of course, in order to avoid having to pay too much actors) the wildlife around is surely still alive and healthy. ;-)

Of course, I think they come in under "Guiness-thieves". ;-)

It's funny, but this movie sound a lot like Rys-Davies old show Sliders. Hopefully Joe's part won't be that of the Star Trek red shirts who always were the first to die!

I like this tweet from one of the young Irish actors he's filming with:
"Just finished first day of filming with the American badass himself Joe Flanigan"

Sounds a little bit like The Mist (great movie). I'm happy to see Joe and I hope the movie does well. I remember that little movie about werewolves and British troops on maneuvers - Dog Soldiers - which proved that intimate horror/scifi movies with the right director, can really hit home. I hope this is one of those movies.

Oh, Dog SOldiers was great. The Mist - as most Stephen King novels to movies go - was so-so. At least there are no supermarkets in this movie ;)
