I'm confused. I thought that he was already filming that pilot? Wasn't that why he pulled out of the Scotland thing?

It's possible that it could have been final negotiations? Ah, we'll never be privy to it, but I can feel the pain of the Glasfow fans not being able to see him.

OK. I've danced around this for a week now but seeing the dates of filming in black and white, starting 30 August, I have to ask, as one of the fans who went to Glasgow to see Joe, only to be told the evening before that he had to leave for urgent filming committments, why could he not at least have come to Glasgow for even just the Saturday?

I know you don't have the answer. Only one person has the answer and I'm not sure he's ever going to give it.

I've just ranted on my journal. Probably a mistake to go public but I've never know when to keep my mouth shut when something really upsets me!

Im glad to see this project is a definite now that dates are set for filming but like others I was disappointed that Joe didnt go to Glasgow especially since we spent our savings going up there to see him.
Having said that there would have been things that could have still needed to be taken care of before filming began. Joe was involved in the auditioning process when Jason was cast as Ronon so the same could have been happening here. Not to mention the fact the man has kids and deserves the right to spend some time with them.A warning is put up with all conventions stating that its not a definite thing until you are there

Although the dates are on the schedule, I'm not sure how hard and firm they are. The cast still says "to be announced" so it's possible Joe is involved in the casting process.
