And here is the Christmas tree display atop the old TV, which is obviously not a flat screen, because there's room to put on a tree and the family of Godzillas ;)  So, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, hope you had a safe and happy day!

Unfortunately I was unable to get Christmas cards out this year, but hope to do better next year.

You did much better than I did for a tree. My house is void of
any sort of decoration. Did not feel like it, but Sandy, my sister,
did it all. I was over there last night and today spent the day
quietly. I did some beta and watched a bit of tv, and spent sometime
online with reading, emails and a bit of beta work.

I almost didn't but after Rory died, I needed something to cheer myself up, cuz gah, January-mid-May is pretty much a dearth of good holidays. Plus it's the only time the Godzillas can party ;)

Yay for partying Godzillas! :) I didn't put up a tree (no space & I'm afraid my cats would destroy it) however, I did put out lights on the front porch and steps. Man, was that a chore!

I think, next year, I will just bribe someone to help and/or put up my lights for me along the steps because ugh, that took forever winding them through the railings.

I love the colored lights on railing. However, have no railing. I swear if I won Powerball I'd do up half the yard in colored lights, or better yet, get a life-sized Godzilla and Dalek, stick 'em in front yard with the lights ;)

Love the display. Penguins and Godzillas. And in this world the penguins eat the Godzillas. I understand the time thing. There are still Christmas cards to mail (and they will get mailed because Patrick made them at his school so they are special keepsakes).
